The crush ad for the iPad Pro 2024 model shows everything being demolished
Apple released the new iPad Pro 2024 ad called Crush that talks about the capability and power of the new model from the company.
Apple has taken an unusual call with the new iPad Pro ad by apologising for the content that angered creators and other people. Apple probably didn’t get the brief right, because many people shared their anger for the ad which shows the trillion-dollar valued company in a bad light. The crushing part of the ad shows you TV, music instruments and more items demolished and crushed which delivers the iPad Pro 2024 model.
One of the popular actors, Hugh Grant, said the ad promoted “destruction of the human experience,’ which is a big and strong statement to make publicly against a tech giant like Apple.
Apple launched the iPad Pro 2024 models this week and the company then released a new ad to showcase the power and capability of the new iPad Pros that can demolish every instrument or gadget that you have used for years.
“Our goal is to always celebrate the myriad of ways users express themselves and bring their ideas to life through iPad. We missed the mark with this video, and we’re sorry,” said Tor Myhren, Apple’s vice president of marketing communications, quoted in an interview by the AdAge. The report also says that Apple will decide against showing this ad on the TV which is the right thing to do.
People on social media have shared their frustration with Apple, where some even talked about the ad making them hate Apple. While some have called it a depressing ad and they are convinced about needing less technology in their lives after seeing TVs and paint cans destroyed into pieces.
The new iPad Pro 2024 model features an OLED display, and is lighter and thinner than the iPad Air 2024 lineup. It comes powered by the latest Apple M4 silicone and supports the new Magic Keyboard the Apple Pencil Pro.
