While the anticipation of the device is growing, Nothing CEO Carl Pei is leaving no stone unturned to pique the interest of smartphone buyers. Pei recently teased a few photos of the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 on his social media handle X (formerly Twitter).
The snapshots showed the redesign of the Quick Settings menu. However, tech enthusiasts, this is not it. While Pei’s share focused on the quick setting, social media users were quick to spot a new button on the right side of the smartphone, which is speculated to be an action button like the iPhone.
Sharing the images on the micro-blogging site X, Carl Pie wrote, “Sharing some Quick Settings redesign WIP, any feedback?”
Nothing CEO shared the images of the new quick settings in both dark and light mode. The smartphone was shown with a slightly new design as the power button was placed on the right side and the volume button was placed on the left side of the device. The share showed the quick settings panel in an expanded and collapsed view, giving smartphone users a clear view at what the upcoming phone will look like.
In terms of the Quick Settings menu, the company has rolled out some minor design changes with circular icons and a smaller Wi-Fi toggle size. The quick settings also consist of a new mobile data toggle and the brightness setting has been moved to the bottom. In addition to that, there is a new slider for changing the device from vibration, silent, and ring modes.
Inspired by iPhone 15, Action button or shortcut keys have the power of multiple features and users can customise them according to their requirements. For example, the button will put the phone on silent with one click, whereas clicking it twice will help users capture a picture.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 is expected to launch around Q2 2024 which usually comes in July. Talking about the Nothing Phone 3 price, users can expect the device to cost between Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 in the market.
