The Indian batter opened the innings alongside SOuth African batter Quinton de Kock, but the partnership did not last long as the southpaw was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar for just 2 runs off the 5 deliveries he faced as Nitish Kumar Reddy managed to hag on to the catching opportunity provided by the Protea batter in the deep.
Stoinis came in to replace his fallen teammate at the crease but could only manage to fare marginally better as he made 3 runs off 5 balls before being sent back to the hut as Sanvir delighted the home crowd.
