Choice Hotels International, last week, finished its 68th Annual Convention. It was hosted in Las Vegas, NV, one of the biggest till date. In three days, Choice offered a roadmap to the operators and owners on the way they will take the advantage on their competitive position together to seize the rising demand for travel. Choice declared about the relaunch of Park Inn by Radisson and its tactical repositioning into the top value space.
Also, the company introduced the SOAR program once again and re-affirmed its twenty-years promise to make hotel ownership opportunities for understated entrepreneurs.
Patrick Pacious, Choice Hotels President and CEO, said that 2024’s convention was about reveling the new level of achievement that Choice along with its franchisees have made it jointly. He has never been more hopeful about their shared future. With their brands well placed to seize even more of the rising demand in travel, they have a marvelous opportunity in front of them.
Choice presented awards and celebrated the top-performing hotels during the event with the help of Choice’s Premier Awards and the Best of Choice Awards, the most sought-after tributes of the company.
The winners:
Kunal Dave of Laxmi Hotels Group grabbed Premier Developer Award. Dave has been a Choice owner for a long time. He outshines at repositioning and rebranding properties.
Bob Patel of Omaha Hotels, Inc. grabbed Premier Legacy Award. Patel started his relationship with Choice 15 years ago by buying an Econo Lodge in Janesville, Wisconsin.
