Saudia Holidays and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) have formalized a partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai. This collaboration aims to promote Mauritius as a top travel destination for residents of the Kingdom.
The agreement was executed by Arved Von Zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer of Saudia, and Arvind Bundhun, Director of the MTPA, during the event held at the Dubai World Trade Center. The MoU outlines a cooperative strategy that leverages the marketing and promotional strengths of both parties.
Arved Von Zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer of Saudia, said: “We are thrilled to announce this strategic partnership between Saudia Holidays and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. Mauritius is a jewel in the Indian Ocean, and through this collaboration, we aim to introduce its breathtaking beauty, unparalleled local hospitality, rich culture and diverse attractions to guests across Saudi Arabia.”
Arvind Bundhun, Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, stated: “This MoU signifies a milestone in our efforts to expand Mauritius’ reach in the Saudi Arabian market. We believe that by joining forces with Saudia Holidays, we can effectively showcase the unique experiences and hospitality that Mauritius has to offer.”
The Memorandum of Understanding highlights several focal points for collaboration, such as developing specialized landing pages for Mauritius with selected travel packages, implementing training programs for staff, launching joint digital marketing efforts, and initiating activities to attract potential travelers.
