Emirates has partnered with Viva Aerobus through an interline agreement to improve connectivity for travelers to Mexico. This collaboration enhances access to numerous locations within Mexico, enabling Emirates passengers to continue their journey from Mexico City to 21 domestic destinations on a single ticket, complete with a unified baggage policy across both airlines.
Additionally, the agreement expands international travel options for Emirates passengers, offering 20 streamlined flight connections between six Mexican cities and various prominent U.S. locations.
Interline tickets are available for immediate purchase and travel, with bookings possible via emirates.com, the Emirates mobile app, or through preferred travel agencies.
Passengers flying from Dubai to Mexico City can now extend their travels to 21 further Mexican cities, including Acapulco, Cancun, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. The extended network also facilitates direct flights from key U.S. cities like Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Miami to selected destinations in Mexico. Moreover, direct flights from Mexico City to U.S. cities such as Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York JFK, and San Antonio are part of the interline offerings.

Emirates offers a premium travel experience to its customers, featuring superior comfort, top-tier dining, in-flight entertainment, and various other amenities aboard its fleet of wide-body Boeing 777 and the prestigious double-decker A380 aircraft.
The route from Dubai to Mexico City is operated using the Boeing 777 in a two-class configuration. Passengers traveling on itineraries that involve interline flights from selected U.S. locations can enjoy the exclusive comforts and unique features of the A380 service on flights from Dubai to Los Angeles and Houston. These flights then connect with Viva Aerobus for onward travel to final destinations in Mexico. Viva Aerobus operates a fleet of 83 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, which are among the most modern in Mexico and the fifth youngest in Latin America, with an average age of just 5.45 years.
Mexico plays a significant role in Emirates’ global network, which covers almost 140 destinations. Emirates commenced its services to Mexico City in 2019, and it currently offers daily flights to this major Latin American city via Barcelona, using the Boeing 777-200LR.
Emirates also maintains commercial cooperation agreements with 161 interline, codeshare, and intermodal partners.
